My debut novel
For a year now, I have been working on my debut novel (genre: coming-of-age). It tells the story of a love triangle in Paris - the city I lived in for more than two years.

About me
My name is Constanze Göbharter, I am 25 years old, and I grew up in a small town near Vienna, Austria. Almost everything I write is inspired by real experiences and captures the spirit of a generation that travels and moves abroad, continually reinvents itself.

My story
I already knew at the age of eight that I wanted to become a writer. Back then, we were asked in school to write a short story of about half a page. I wrote seven. My teacher read the story aloud to the class, and everyone agreed that I should become a writer. From that moment on, I have not wanted anything in life as much as to make a living as an author one day.
Today, I have self-published two poetry collections on Amazon - most of the poems are in English, but some of them are also in my native language, German. For me, words are not just a form of expression, but a feeling of home.
I am currently working on my debut novel, a coming-of-age and love story set in Paris, where I lived and worked for two and a half years. Paris has a unique kind of magic, one that artists in particular understand. For me, this city became a second home.
As a solo traveler, I have been to every continent except Australia and Antarctica by myself. Even as a teenager, I knew I wanted to go out into the world: to experience, to feel, to observe - and to turn it all into stories. My travels have given me countless stories to tell and write down, which is exactly why I love the combination of writing and traveling so much.
